Scout accuracy?

I'm terribly sorry if this is a really noobish question, but oh well here it goes:

Is the Scout sniper rifle incredibly inaccurate sometimes? I swear that I shoot right in the head at someone that doesn't even notice me and it doesn't seem to do anything. Does it have insane bullet drop or something? :laugh:

It could be lag or something similar of course, but I'm just wondering cause there are times when it seems that I just couldn't have missed.

I even frapsed myself playing once and even though the crosshair was dead on the guys head it just missed.

Might be lag or hitbox issues.

TBH, the scout is very very very accurate.

Ran around with the deagle today on a DM server and I did a few headshots that looked pretty freaky. (guy died around 2 m from where I shot)

I think the scout is more accurate then the AWP, right?

Of course, it has the disadvantage of being much weaker, so headshots are a must.

But anyway, yeah it was probably lag.

Far more accurate than the AWP. You can practically walk and shoot and still hit around the center.

It was the case in 1.6

By the way, are dragshots possible with the scout? They aren't right?

you drag shot with any gun theoretically

the scout is good for keeping mobile, its also good at no scoping, can remember no scoping someone on D2, was in the pit on long a and he was in the sight, was awesome

You can still dragshot, but it's better to stay mobile to avoid all the AWP users.

Plus, it just feels so much better to be doing well with the scout rather than AWP-whoring.

Yep indeed

After playing BF games for a long time you get a natural reflex to shoot at the head, helps with the scout a lot. The AWP is almost overpowered in a skilled players hands imo but somehow it balances itself out.

The scout is fun but the awp just has the sheer power that allows you to doorbang and hit people through boxes/walledges

scout is a pub weapon to be fair
