ok this is my situation,

i am going to install bf2142 on my new comp but i said my cd key was invalid, the questions i have to ask are:

1. do i only have to uninstall BF2142 on my old, then i can install it on my new comp?
2. do i have to get a new cd key?

I'd say neither of it. It's strange that it says CD-Key invalid. Did you try it again?

ahh yes its working now, had to uninsatll from old one thanks guys.

You can have battlefield installed on 20 different computers all with the same key, and they all should work, just not at the same time.
