I havent seen a thread like this but it never hurts for a refresh. What are your main and sub kit layouts? what do you take when doing what, and do you ever run light armor?


For me, in conquest city maps, I am always assault, As EU I switch between Baur and Scar, Scar gives me more of a challenge as it is the hardest Assault gun to handle in general, as PAC I usually use Baur, but Krylov gets me streaks in the 20s. I also pack a defib and PKs, I have never had the patience to test armors, so I always run heavy, but if you have a good squad on your back, who cares if you can just get revived?


For Titan, running for silos, I go through engineer, support with Clark and Assault with stocks. for titan combat, I clark on defense, for assault, if I know they havent had time to secure the halls, I bring a clark, but if I need to clear 1 or 2 out, I bring LMGs. I always supply in reactor cores.


Finally for TWL I use the usual assault, but if I know we are going against good guys, I break out the Voss, easy, powerful, and big clip, basically and expanded Krylov. Congrats you read this, therefore you are patient and intelligent.

Anyway, I tend to mostly use assualt kit. Krylov/voss with defib and p/k rockets. oh yeah, and never use light armour....

I pretty much never play titan and most of the time go assault all i have to say is krylov FTW with the hertzog and defib.

I pretty much always go assault with scar/baur/krylov, the latter i always use on pac, and the first 2 i choose depending on the map and my mood. with that the combination of rocketss and defib and my kit is complete

when im support(which is very rare) i just figure something out

and i always use heavy armor

Conquest I generally go with Bianchi/Shuko with the Mini-UAV and Clark-RDX (which is great when the other team just clausterf***s). If I'm in a good squad and they need a little extra help I'll go assault with Krylov or SCAR.

Titan, if on the ground I'll go Engi (pilum ftw) with MM and PDS. If I'm defending my own titan, Clark. If I'm attacking the enemy titan I'll usually go either recon so I can APM whore or I'll go engi with pilum so that I can blow up a few consoles. The SMG's are awesome in CQB.

I almost always have light armor.

I'm a conquest guy. Always heavy armor.

Assault for 60%. I use voss exclusively because I get dyslexic switching between krylov and voss. The whole hot key opposite switch thing for defib and rockets between voss and krylov always has me pulling the one I don't need. So now that I'm pure voss, the certainty has me doing well.

Engineer 25%. I'm a walker whore. I admit it. Pilum, what else. I use the MM bait for clearing rabbit turds in my way, and MM's for when another walker whore blows mine up and I want bitter bitter revenge.

Clark 15%. This is newer to me but very fun. I recommend it. I love using it on Camp G when you are defending Central Camp or Ruins. The mini uav and a sentry gun for cover fire is such a great combo. The only problem I have are all the assault teammates who run by my body and don't rez me. At least when I'm assault they usually have the common decency to give me a reach around after already doing the same for them twice. I guess what I'm saying, is that I can't seem to do as much killing with the clark because you generally get worn down. Still fun to watch the bodies fly around.

dude same here my teammates barely revive me when i play, when i always revive them.
