Already been there and done it Doggie. Bangwagon-humping simpletons constantly whining about how much better everything would be if everyone worked in a team. Guess what morons, some people don't want to constantly rely on other people to achieve simple tasks. Hardly anybody engages in real teamwork for a reason - it sucks.

TEAMWORK is about working with a group of people for a common goal.
It is a way to play this game that some people feel promotes the better side of bf2, rather than the selfish effects of the lonewolf crowd.

Some of the aspects of BF2 like earning badges require teamwork for there to be a greater chance of success. Example, Veteran Aviator is achieved much easier if you have a wingman to protect your flank.

Thankfully, Battlefield allows both types of player to get enjoyment out of this game, and that is what is most important. Having fun with a game is why you buy it, and why some games succeed while others do not.

Besides heal, repair, revive and resupply, wininning the battle is also good for the ego and cracks the morale of the other side.

Many times more experienced players will leave mob like, lone wolf teams when the opponents appear to be well organized and goal oriented.

Ultimately Don't let other people decide how you want to play. And if you are a team player there are plenty of us who are also.

I agree, but Id like to correct it a little. In order for teamwork to be effective, the group has to work hard, which is precisely why theres little teamwork in BF2 pubs. Teamwork and VOIP can be such awful distractions in a hectic game. The most fun times in a well working squad, for me, have always been involving solid players who all knew exactly what to do. Theres no "comms", no "orders". Just game time, and everyone instinctively knows what to do.

                A) Keep the SQL alive
                B) Cap the flag

However they achieve these goals, is irrelevant.

These squads are the most fun because youre still playing as an individual, unrestricted and you can rely on your own skillset without limiting yourself or potentially endangering yourself. This, of course, is different for each game, but vBF2 is too fast, firefights require a lot more concentration, for teamwork to be "fun". Past bunnyhopping together, serious stuff is hindering.

                As for this

Tsovehr was the nr.1 infantry player in TBF2 match, and we werent playing a "pub game". In theory, we were playing a team vs team game, which puts these concepts to the realitys test. The mere fact that his KDR alone was above others in colossal numbers, shows that what the mans got to say, at least holds some weight.

I know this is off the point... but teamwork in clan matches is very satisfying and rewarding.
In clan matches skill with your gun is less important and teamwork becomes essential. For example on karkand small map the winning team was always the one with the best mobility and out flanked the opposition.

The best and easiest form of teamwork on a public server is just having a good squad leader and a squad that spawns on him (or her). Just having this one spawn point near a flag that is out of the way will persuade and encourage people to attack the near flag and work together.
