i can imagion 3 anti tank either side of road between north base and airfield on wake lol.

Just pop up on unsuspecting tank and slaughter it.

Im confused though what do you mean by ambush? Im not sure its necessary to have multiple people for ambush unless one is bait?

The only bad things with well executed ambushes is that they are over in 5 seconds... A couple of days ago the squad i was in ambushed an APC and a humvee that were moving togerther on PR. I laid a C4 on the side of the road, we had a guy with a M249 SAW on the other side of the road, and we had a light AT guy to take out the humvee.

It all worked flawlesly, i blew the C4 so it started burning and the L-AT guy took out the humvee while the SAW gunner killed everyone who had time to exit the APC before it blew up. The whole thing was over in less than 10 seconds and we waited for atleast 5 minutes for something to come our way. It was kinda worth it tho

Haha when im militia, i always take a squad to Village where we place ALOT of mines or just put C4 on the road and ambush vehicles IED style. Lol at one point we had 3 engineers in the squad and each of them placed 8 mines around the flag Lets just say that our team won that round pretty easily

I have used a small ambush team. Armor suppression. Normally in a choke point. Largest one was three man team. Works well in Karkand with an engineer laying mines and manning a TOW, with AT kit working as support.

I would love to plan ambushes to, but unless you have a really good, attentive squad, I don't think there is enough dedication in bf2 to pull it off. The only time I've ever made a successful coordinated ambush was when I was playing with someone who was in the same room as me, so we could talk easily.
