Worth coming back?

I played BF 2142 3 weeks after it came out, then went off to other games, then to CoD 4...but im starting to get that urge again to play 2142, tell me guys, is it really worth it?

i play alot of games, but 2142 always makes me come back. The squad play is still the best around. Been playing again as of late and loving every minute of it.

hmm well i havent played online for a very long time on my normal soldier yesterday i was trying to rub the dust of my snipers and tried to polish my knife but i think i also need to sharpen it as i needed to stab my friend 5 times lol.

But yeah its worth it.

I hadn't played this game for about four months up until a few nights ago, and it's still a lot of fun. It's getting harder to find servers these days, it seems, but if you can it's good fun.

Yes and no, the experience is what you make it. It is probably the best squadplay game out there, but if you don't actively seek out the squads that work together and use VOIP etc, it can be quite a boring experience. Getting in a clan increases the longetivity of the game to no end, so I'd advise that, or at least finding a particular clan server and making friends with their members.

If you just jump on a packed server and run around on your own mission, then to be honest, you might enjoy for a little bit, but you also might find yourself getting infuriated eventually.

That said, I've been playing it since release date, and since I've always been playing with friends, and have made a shedload of new friends across clans in the process, I've had one hell of a fun ride!
