Run BF2 in a window...

Do you know how to run BF2 in a window? ive tried a lot of ways but they didnt work...Could you help me?:guns:

right click on ur shortcut > properties

in teh target box where it says something like "C:/Program files/ea games/battlefield 2....." look for "+fullscreen 1" and make that 1 into a 0

do it again and make sure u click the shortcut tab at the top when your in property's

or paste this directly into your target in properties(asuming its default)

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 0

^ That's what I do too.

If you're running BF2 from a server browser like Qtracker or HLSW, you have to put those properties in there.


BTW, window mode FTW, I run all my games in window mode.

^but then its so small i wana do that so i can use both my screens (one bf2 and the other ts or something) but when i click over to the other screen it minimizes my game

What do you find to be so better by playing in windowed mode?
(Other than being able to basically alt+tab easier and check on vent/ts...)

If you're native resolution is wide screen, bf2 is 4:3

How could i add maps on singleplayer?

ok wtv doesnt work...i have an other question...how could i add more maps on singleplayer? i want to play highway tampa on singleplayer but obviously it doesnt let me...will you help me???

Creating maps with bots on is a tough, complicated and time-consuming work since you need to manually configure and add tactics and waypoints for each team, squad and player.

to run game in windowed mode add parameter: +fullscreen 1
to set width and height resolution add prameters(type wanted resolution): +szx 1280 +szy 1024

to see all available commands add parameter: +help (a list of commands will appear)
