Just bought the game!

So yeah, I've just bought the game, wanting a change from the other games I play which tend to be frantic FPS's such as BF2, TF2 and CS:S.

So what can I expect? Any hints or tips on getting started?

Also, patches. I assume I need to download all the incremental patches and install them in order? I can't find a full patch anywhere..

Yes, there are a lot of patches.

You still have quite a bit of patching to do.
Depends really, if you want to play with the people who have the expansion, you have a massive 2GB patch ahead of you.

Otherwise, it would be around 1GB worth of patches for the basic game.

It has an auto-update, so its quite handy.

lols I hope you make sure to get the 1.40 - 2.101 patch, that saves you a lot of trouble. Any questions just pop them in the forum!
