BF2142 CTD Server list

Ey there guys.
First time ever posting on this forums.
Anyways... i just reinstalled BF2142 and everytime it populates the Server list or if i go to the Audio Tab... CTD.
Thats it.

I execute the game, wait for the videos, choose my Soldier and when its gonna populate the server, it crashs.
Anyone know what to do?.
I tried everything, reinstalling the game, Punkbuster Service, reinstalling Patch, EVERYTHING.

Im using Windows XP... not VISTA.

Please if you know what to do let me know

maybe your sound options file is messed up. try to delete cash files(backup them first). if that doesnt solve the problems try to find out if your sound does work. dxdiag can find out if you have any problem with sound. can you play single player or does that one crash to.(if single player works it probebly is voip or not a soundbug).
