Got 8800GT, no more 1152x864 at 60Hz?

    Got 8800GT, no more 1152x864 at 60Hz?

    Can someone confirm that with this card I can't run that res/refresh rate combo? Monitor native res is 1440x900/16:9. Loved running VSYNC with tripple buffering at 60Hz/60FPS, but now all I got is 75Hz for 1152x864 and my system isn't quite powerful enough to keep the FPS at 75 with everything on high.

    as for syncing every frame that drives me mad and i usually have vsync disabled so cant help you there sorry.

      Had forgot about that, unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I tried changing first the short cut and then the video.con but in both cases the game starts, screen goes black and then I'm back at desktop.

        You shouldn't need to change the video.con. When i did that it caused my game to crash.

        I just changed the shortcut line.

          Got it working perfectly now, 1440x900@60Hz. Thanks a million :)
