Dark Character problem

Just got the game today and even when i had the demo had the same problem, all the characters are very dark, not black, but just too dark than they should be with the background, unless a light source shines on them they look fine, but still too dark, I have the graphics setting maxed out and have been messing around with them and still same problem, and ive updated my graphics drivers and exceed all the system requirements thanks:

Dell XPS M1710
Centrino Duo- 2.16ghz
4 gigs, 3.3 usuable PC-6400
100 gig sata drive
gefore go 7900 gtx 512mb
windows xp media center

Posting some screenshots would help us see how bad the problem is.

At any rate, what you've written sounds like a common problem with Nvidia drivers. Instead of the latest "official" drivers, instead, download and install the newest "beta" drivers (you can find the links at www.nvidia.com).
