not very accurate for alot of people with high end cards since it tops out on BF2 at 100fps. so people like myself or heck anyone with an 8800 or 2 with a decent processor would cap at 100 and bounce between 99-100 at all times, arty falling or not. that would be max with 8Xaa as well. IDK if fraps will go higher but i think its a BF2 thing. i heard you can unlock the FPS ticker in the console however it wouldn't improve gameplay but may show you your real FPS

WTF (as in why) do you need more than 100 fps...?

the frame rate its just a way to tell your eyes how close to real life will you see things, on real life your eyes only catch up to 80 frames per second, so a frame rate of 80, should be more than enough to make your experience a good one, some guys get to see from 75 to 85 frames per second, but that interval doesnt really makes no differency since you start to see thing laggy at 40 frames per second or below.

Higher FPS = More things can happen more quickly in code in a game. Therefore higher FPS = better.

Wow, you must really like BF2 to keep playing it despite the lousy performance. Playing with that low of FPS would drive me insane. :p

PR runs well on my computer except for fools road which makes me wanna cry. i get like 30-40 fps which is pretty smooth in my book. in newer games, fps of around 30+ is smooth a butter but if u play older games 30fps usually is barely enough. not sure why

Whats up with that map anyways?? I can run Quinling just fine and its the size of Kashan and with trees, but when i join a Fools Road server, my fps can suddently drop to 15 and stay there before going to 40+ again...

                        I get about 60 fps in bf2, :/

I always use fraps for framerate anyways.
