    What did I do now...

Last night I tried to make the graphics a little better by turning some stuff up, but it ran choppy so I turned it down (on single player) and it ran choppy with horrible FPS still. So i switched on over to Multiplayer and it ran the same, if not worse, there too! I tried resetting it to optimal system settings but still ran pretty bad. Then I gave up and unistalled the game. I reinstalled it and it is still running at like 10FPS or less!!!! Can someone please tell me what to do... BTW I have a Macbook Pro that has a res of 1440x900. I normally play the game at that with 2x AA very very well, probably around 40FPS or more. Thanks in advance.

NVM i figured out the problem, admins feel free to delete this thread.

Well the game was lagging horrible and getting about 5FPS on both SP and MP. I didn't know what to do so I just tried one last thing, and that was to restart it, and it worked... but now I have to restart at level 1... I was at 55. Oh well! :)

        What settings did you change?
What kind of lag is it, explain it a bit better.
Not sure if you can with a MAC, but did you restore your system?

No, I already fixed it. It was just getting like 5 FPS or something like that; im not sure how much but it was incredibly un-playable. I thing I changed the AA to 4x from 2x, and maybe a little more anistrophic-filtering. What the hell is anistrophic-filtering anywho?
BTW after I fixed it, I went and made it 4x AA just to see since I knew how to fix it if the problem happened again, and amazingly, it still plays very well with more AA on.

It just makes textures that recede into the distance sharper over distance, instead of blurring the way they can. Not really necessary in CoD, since you hardly get textures long enough for it to have any effect =P
