IW have stated that there is no limit to how many you can have on PC - it is only limited by your bandwidth and hardware of your server.

Whether or not that's accurate, I just did a quick scan of servers using XFire, and there are several 54/54 servers active in the UK, so the limit is more than 50. There are also populated servers, although not full, that have a limit of 64 being displayed (46/64 in the one I spotted).

yup whiskey has got it right,no limit so it is possible for 128 servers,course you would need a huge custom map!

I've tried joining that server... it's weird, its like a fake, it brings you into a server with... not 92 people in it.
