Run in windowed mode or fix alt tab issue

I crash the game when i alt tab to my desktop. Any solutions? If not how do i run the game in windowed mode. Never had this issue before 1.4 came out. Thanks.

I'm not sure how to fix that, sometimes the game is just unstable.

To run in windowed mode: Go to a shortcut to BF2142, Right Click > Properties > On the 'Target' line add "+fullscreen 0" after the main target and ending quotes (").

Deleting/renaming the intro movies used to cause alt tab crashes, I don't know if the problem was ever fixed.
I renamed all the intro movies apart from dice.bik and can alt tab fine.
