Question about mics

I just got a new one. How do i get BF2 to recognize it, and how do i use it?

do i just talk or is there a button i need to press? who can hear me-- my team, squad, or everyone?

it should regonize it without having to do anything. you need to press a button and i think the default is "B" but i could be mistaken. and you can only talk if you are in a squad in which your squad and the commander can hear you - like i said, correct me if im wrong

You are correct about all that except the commander can only hear the squad leaders.

hmm does it come with software, trying installing that , if that dosent work try with the options (i mean fiddle arond with them), if that still doesnt' work see if battlefield or you mic is supported with each other.

does he mic work outside of game? because if it doesnt then thats your problem, as it should recognize it straight away methinks.

u can also calibrate ur mic in the options menu in the game... and also not all servers allow mic speak
