I was running with two 7900GTXs in SLi when my friend was running in the game with one 8500GT, my system seemed to perform much better than his. Not saying that this will be the case with 7600.

This comparison chart may help you a little.

You may want to consider getting cards that are a little newer than the 7600s as technology is progressing, and remember SLi doesn't necessarily mean times the specs by two.

That depends entirely on the rest of your system.

Here are the results you can expect with different cards (including the 3850) on COD4: http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/11/...00/page17.html

And here are the specs of the test system used to produce the results above: http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/11/...800/page8.html

i would go with the nivida 7900 gt
one of my mates has one n its better than my 8400gs
in my past experance i would stay away from ati, used to be good but now nivida are the ones to go for

The core 2 duo at 2.2 will kick the 2.6 amd processors in the ***.So go intel.

But why? the amd is 2.6 dual core, intel is only 2.2 dual core, i dont see how intel will be better
