I've installed the BF2142 Knife Skin and a Deagle skin. Looking quite good.

Also noticed a file called voice_ban.dt. Does this mean I'm banned from ever using voice chat? :hmm:

What mouse have you got because that is a very low sensitivity?

If you look at a lot of the other sections, they have hints and tips threads where people can post said things. I agree that this was more of a help thread but it has transformed into how people play and stuff

Hm, anything smaller than the "small" option is too small for me for some reason.

Is it Custom Crosshair colors by l2Rebel?

And I'll be giving the crosshairs a reduction in size, as soon as I've gotten my Kritzcrieg. :p

I don't see how reducing the size helps, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

EDIT: Size reduction seems to help in aiming somehows. xD

Color change is nice, but black sometimes is not visible in certain maps, so I've created a bind which allows me to switch between green and black. :)

Another solution to the crosshair color problem.....get a black crosshair.

On Fpsbanana, in the CS:S>sprites section, there is a custom crosshair color download, I use the black one, which works with the crosshair transparency box in options. Now instead of making my crosshair transparent, it turns it from bright green to black, and vice versa. Also since I didn't want to go to options everytime I changed from a bright to dark map, I binded crosshair transparency toggle to a key, so I press a button to change crosshair color.

I believe all the instructions are in a readme with the crosshair color download. It's fairly simple anyway.

Larger numbers make the cross hair smaller. Useful for precision aiming but difficult to see on maps like Dust where its very light.

This can be overcome by sticking a tiny piece of blue tack on the cross hair.

I use cl_crosshairscale 12000

Best tip ever:

cl_crosshairscale 3000 (in console).... practice with it, it helps tremendously.
