Any Chance Of Squads In 1.6

Is there any chance whatsoever of getting squads in multiplayer. It would make it so u could stay with other people so you would have a better chance of surviving. Im sure squads of 4-5 would do the job.

As much as I want squads with some kind of squad command system, I don't expect it to happen. The game is released, became Game of the Year and is incredibly popular. I just can't see them changing it now.

CoD4 is basically a deathmatch game and the maps are simply to small to make squads come in handy.

eavesdrop is good for training for Clan Base cause there is no 3rd teir perk alloud :yay:

Very unlikely that IW would put this in a patch.

However, I would not be surprised if a Squad System Mod was created by someone in the community, and eventually played on custom servers.

no point of having a squad system, the maps are too small and the rounds too short for it to be of any use. I seriously doubt IW will put it in a game thats already won awards. Why fix something that isnt broken?

IMO IW need to sort other things first, really frustrating things.

First off the bat, you should really have the option of turning UAV/Airstrikes/Chopper all off and keep your server ranked. The rankings DO NOT MATTER in reality, so get rid of this crap.

But even worse than that - currently if you choose to turn that off by unranking your server, which can be done, then no one will join your server. The don't join, not only because its a pain, but also because each map they have to re-choose their gun set up - a complete pain in the ***. That needs fixing.

There`s no point in adding squads, they`d be useless.
We will get 2 or 3 new maps in the future, like with all the cod games, maybe even a new weapon.
