    COD4: Server Favorites bugged

I stopped doing Public servers for awhile.. so I'm not really sure when this happened, but all the servers I added to "My Favorites" have bugged out and been removed. Yet they're still listed on my favorites list and I can't remove them. The simply appear as 0000000.0000000000 and show zero of zero players playing... no punkbuster running, etc etc. Basicly no server, but it's still on my list and using the Delete Favorite button doesn't remove them.

So about 8 or 9 of these are stuck there, I can add new servers and they work fine. But these other ones are stuck there taking up space and annoying me. I tried to look in my COD4 folder to remove them manually but couldn't find anything that looked like a favorites list.

    Thanks for any help.

    Here's a screenshot.

As you can see in the screenshot, toggle the "Source" setting at the top of the browser screen to "Favorites".

        ..

Magnum44 - look like there are still some bugs with the browser & using Favorites. In older patch versions, there were more bugs with the Favorites list not showing correct info unless you cleared your search filters and refreshed the main list and/or the Fav's list a couple times. I had this myself in the past. I believe I made a note on paper of the servers I liked, then deleted everything, one by one, and kept refreshing my filters and lists until I could delete everything.

If you remember what servers these were, you may want to check their status through XFire or the main browser...I have a suspicion that if a server goes offline (whether accidental or disconnected purposely) that you may see the 000000's error.

Well since then I've re added some of these servers. As well as my own server, and it's gone offline a few times and whenever I refresh it comes back fine. I'm pretty sure this all happened at once, at not one at a time as it would if the servers each crashed and didn't come back online properly. And either way, I should be able to remove them with del. favorites shouldn't I?
Or find it somewhere in my install folder and remove it manually?

I'm not sure where that info is kept in the game files (might be encrypted), so I think it's best to use the browser functions to remove them.

I have gotten errors before of not being able to erase a favorite, or, sometimes they just don't show up for whatever reason so I couldn't delete them (ie. they are invisible, but still there). It took a lot of refreshing, clearing filters, doing new searches, adding other servers, etc, etc, before I was finally able to wipe everything clean. Again, this was several patch versions ago, however.

It's not giving any errors. It asks if I really want to delete it. I click yes and my list goes blank for a second, then I refresh and they're all back.
