But seriously, yes, Saving private ryan is a classic. Love the part where Tom Hanks (as I actually can't remember the characters name) shoots at a tank with a pistol and it blows up at the last shot :laugh:

Hahah.. We watched in class once, way back in Year 9, (I think 8th grade for those in the US system),and we had this Cambodian guy who played wayy too much CS piping up through it. During the beginning, with the german machine gunners "WTF! Hes such a spammer!", and complaining about the sniper's aimbot...

This guy also believed there was a National Mechanical Pen day, where everyone has to give their teacher a mechanical pen...

Want scary realism watch rambo. Its one of the only movies that i've seen that a 50 cal. machine gun actually blows chunks out of someone rather than just riddle him full of holes.

Actually the Longest day is not that "yay we won" crappyness.
They depict authentic allied tanks and vehicles, good acting, a lot of work for doing it, let's say it's a little like Ryan but w/out gore. Gives you a nice looking at the D-day events trough a cinematic scope. I reccomend it. :)
