It could be overheating, it's kinda hard to say...
When i had all weird graphics on BF2142, i learned that the graphics card was faulty... -
It can be:
-Faulty card
-too high settings for your system
-overheating
-bad driver
-memory corruption etc...Comment

Try turning anti-aliasing off.
Had this problem when i was running in SLi, seemed the set up didnt like AA.
