Comodo firewall users

the comodo firewall keeps blocking battlefield 2 from going online to get my account, dopes anyone know the file that connects to the net that goes and gets my file so i can put it on my safe list?

I believe its the BF2.exe, that is usually located at 'C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe

well of course ive allowed that, it was one of the first thins i put in the safe list but it didn't do anything really, it connects and i can play games when the firwall is turned off but i don't wanna leave it turned off when i play

It works fine for me, what level of security have you chosen ? Look at your task bar and see if you have the same as shown in the pic.



Edit : you don't have any other firewalls installed do you ?

i tried to run it in the train with safe mode on but it didnt help

I think it might be the fact that I never remembered to patch the game, im still on 1.1. This whole time since i formated my computer i never remembered to do it, now i gotta download the massive file and have to wait till the weekend to get it

Might be a good idea after you download the patch (hope you're downloading 1.41 and not 1.4) and have it installed, to burn that patch to a cd and put the cd in your BF2 case.

Yeah cos i tell ya what, the amount of times ive had to re-download patches is insane eventually im gonna buy an external hard drive so ill keep all stuff like that in there
