I'm sure may others have asked the same question but I have to know what is going on. I'm on a school network that to my knowlege is really fast but when I play BF2 I get pings of 200+, which is unplayable. My computer specs may or may not be in sig, I don't know if I set that up correctly. The hardware should be more than up to playing the game. At this point I'm at a loss for what the issue is. What can I do to either fix the lag problem or what other informtion do you need to be of help? Thanks

whats the capacity of the school network and how many students are also trying to download porn, play games, watch youtube videos etc etc on the same amount of bandwidth your school has? -

Point taken, I'm just pissed that 9/10 times I get kicked. I figured that it would be as simple as that.Comment

It does sound like a network problem as the others have said, I would install Qtracker and try and find a local server with a lower ping to play on, it's much better than the in game server browser in my opinion.Comment
