How do you minimize?

From full screen to medium screen to where its a window, instead of the whole monitor being displayed as the game? I've tried looking through the properties of the game and it said i can either maximize it, (which it already is) I could minimize it to a small window or something else. now, i can't find it. Is there anyway that i can make it into a minimized window to where i can look at my AIM? any help would be awesome.

Alt + Enter? Dunno if it works in all games but it works in a few I remember.
