cant change max fps

i tried to change my max fps and it stays at 60 no matter wut i do. I tired the command but it still wont change.
any ideas??

You don't happen to have Vsync on do you? If you do turn it off, with Vsync on your frames will not exceed your monitors refresh rate.

Why would you need to? At that point, anything higher is not even noticable.

I have the same problem, I always had vsync on with 100+ frames,after updating to 1.5 i can't get over 60.Now if i turn vsync off i get 70-80.Any ideas

Contrary to popular belief, the human eye's perception does not max out at 60 fps. You can indeed see a difference between a game running at 60, and another at a significantly higher increment.
