Does anyone know if there is a folder, or file that stores the console commands in game? Like when you type in cg_fov it has a drop down menu of sorts, is that stored in a file? If so can you tell me where it is?

Am I getting close? ~ Im pretty sure that when you put something in the console to be saved then it goes here, the other files were logs for the console.

Because I left to go hang out with some friends. My cousins are staying at my place while their house is getting fumigated. My little cousin got onto my computer (He plays CoD4 also) and decided to download mombot. Then not tell me about it. So I went in game no knowing this, and got a bunch of *WARNING* scrolling through the bottom of my game, and then it said something about command console "hax = 0" or something. So I exited game and asked him. So ya, now I'm here trying not to get banned from all the servers. So I'm trying to get rid of these damn commands. So I'm gonna have to reinstall to see if that works. But if the commands are stored in my mp_cfg file then I am screwed out of my rank and score and such.

Your rank is saved in mpdata, back that up before you reinstall to save your rank.

something similar happened to me.... i reinstalled and it still had the error message so idk
