Kit or Class Templates...

[KC-10]

For those used to Battlefield setups and want to have a loadout for almost every situation.

Offensive, good for medium to close in fighting.
M4/AK-47/G36/MP44/P90/RPD with ACOG or Red Dot Sight (depending on range).
Desert Eagle.
Smoke/Stun Grenade.
RPG/Frag x3/RPG.
Stopping Power/Juggernaut/Double Tap.
Extreme Conditioning/Steady Aim.

Reconnaissance, good for raids on an enemy spawn without giving away your position.
M4/G36/MP5/Skorpion/Mini-Uzi/AK-74U/P90 with silencer.
M9/USP .45 with silencer.
Flashbang/Stun Grenade.
C4/Claymore/Special Grenade x3/Bandolier.
UAV Jammer.
Dead Silence/Extreme Conditioning.

Standoff, specifically created for holding off (and slowing down) waves of enemies.
M16/M249 SAW/M60E4 with M203 GL, Grip or Red Dot Sight (personal preference here).
M9/M1911.
Smoke/Stun Grenade.
C4/Claymore/Bandolier.
Stopping Power/Double Tap/Sleight of Hand.
Last Stand.

Sniper, for long range interdiction of enemies.
M40A3/M21/Dragunov/R700/M82/M60E4 with or without ACOG (recommend you place ACOG on M60E4).
M9/USP .45/M1911 with silencer.
Flashbang/Smoke/Stun Grenade.
Claymore.
Stopping Power/Sleight of Hand/UAV Jammer.
Iron Lungs/Dead Silence/Extreme Conditioning/Last Stand.

Defensive, for holding an objective or position.
W1200/Benelli M4/M249 SAW/M60E4 with Grip or Red Dot Sight.
USP .45/M1911/Desert Eagle.
Smoke/Stun Grenade.
C4/Bandolier.
Stopping Power/Double Tap/Sleight of Hand/UAV Jammer.
Steady Aim/Last Stand/Dead Silence.

Those are my basic templates. Try em out, and tell me what you think.

I use them setups now, all work well.... used all except for a P90 with an acog... that seems kinda funny.

Curly, I recommend you stick to the red dot sight for the P90. Range is not too good, and with a further accuracy reduction. >,<

For certain types of jobs - there are only a handful of things that will work best (such as the equipment listed for recon or standoff), however, once you narrow down the list of things that work for that job, it becomes a matter of personal choice of what you want for that job.

Those are good although standoff and defense are pretty much the same. I would have a general use kit instead of standoff.

I use defense when the enemy have reached our spawn/flag, and standoff, when they haven't reached it, but I want to simply slow down their advance. They are, pretty similar though.

Red dot works best for sure.

Why not just say "uber-pwnage" and list every gun, every perk, etc? All of those are very vague and have at least 25 variations within themselves.

I think most people can discern what's a good close quarters, ranged, etc gun, and what perks will help with that role...

TheDesert_Fox, it is not meant to tell you EXACTLY what to choose to go for a class. It is there, simply to tell you what is good at what role...and to make it easier to discern which gun/perks to choose for that role. If you want to follow the templates I have made, then go for it, you choose what you want from the template. If you don't want to follow the template, then just don't follow it. :)
