    Razor Diamondback mouse problem (Left Handed)

    Hi,

    I have a problem with the Razor Diamondback mouse. I'm left handed so I've obviously switched the left and right buttons around. The problem is, I've set the primary fire to the right mouse button and secondary to the left (Reverse of a rightie) but when I use the spot menu to call out an enemy, I have to use the secondary button instead of primary fire to register the call.

    This is annoying as, if I play sniper, I will either scope in or out everytime I call out an enemy.

    This problem has also stopped me from controlling the TV Missile in the helicopters as I cannot guide it due to the game not registering my left click as primary fire. It will fire the missile but not guide it.

    I have reinstalled the Razor software on several occasions, and it worked without a problem the first time I installed it. Since then I've purchased a new motherboard (It stopped working on the old moboas well) and it still doesnt register the button config properly.

    The buttons regsiter in the right position when I'm on the desktop, only in games it wont register. If I start up Hitman Blood Money, I have to navigate the menu in right hand configuration.

    Has anyone else whos left handed or switched the buttons round, had this problem and fixed it? If so, how?

    Thanks for any help.

    My Docs> battlefield2 > profiles > 0001 > controls.con
    find;
    Code:
    ControlMap.addButtonToTriggerMapping c_GIOk IDFMouse IDButton_0 0 0
    change to;
    Code:
    ControlMap.addButtonToTriggerMapping c_GIOk IDFMouse IDButton_1 0 0
    Button_0 = Left Mouse Button
    Button_1 = Right Mouse Button
    Button_2 = Middle Mouse Button

    I assume.

      The baboon is right, I had the same problem few months back. If that doesn't work I believe there is a small razor software to download that will automatically adjust to your preferences needed by being a "lefty".

        Thanks for the help guys. Its changed the button over but its created another problem. When I spot a target it will shout out and show the manual spotter menu at the same time. I also can no longer shout for a medic by pressing fire when I die.

          Crap i see where this is going and you arent going to like it..

          Im guessing to manually get the game to work left handed you have to manually change all the binds for primary fire in the control.con and thats alot of changes to make.

          If that doesn't work I believe there is a small razor software to download that will automatically adjust to your preferences needed by being a "lefty".
          Assuming that didnt work either;

            No I havent tried the software as I don't know which software he mean't. I've searched through various forums but being left handed, this issue is rarely touched upon.

            I have submitted a ticket to razer and await a reply but if you could direct me to the piece of software mentioned I'd be me more than greatful.

              I'm assume the drivers you get off the Razer website for your diamonback,
              1. Open the Razer Customizer.
              2. Select the Buttons tab.
              3. Click on Left-Handed in the Orientation section.
              4. Click Apply, then OK.

                Thanks for the reply.

                I forgot to mention I already use the Razer Software and it makes no difference if I change the mode within the software or in windows XP itself. I've also tried without the software with no luck.
