    Has Eavesdrop ever helped you in online play?(PC)

    I'm just wondering, has the perk eavesdrop ever helped you at all in online play?
    Personally, I think that the people who ARE using voice chat are using third party programs such as teamspeak, vent, or xfire. Also the keyboard is used a lot more than the console versions. So, I can see it working in PC, but not consoles. What do you think?
    edit: how do i edit polls? if i can't, just put other and then a yes/no then talk about why you do that

    Never used it. It's just not practical with PCs, since most everybody types.

        this perk would be great on BF2, but not cod4 since there is no teamwork anyway...

          That is a valid point. But most good teams and/or clans are usually on TS,ventrillo or xfire as stated above.

            The few times anyone on my team used the in-game Viop, it was "our team sucks" voip is a joke, though it worked great in BF2 on more then a few occasions

              Almost all clans use vent, ts, or some variation. BF2 had teamplay, this doesn't have any.

              PC voip is never used by anyone. Consoles can't type so they talk which makes more sense.

                I've used it on the PS3.

                Never on the PC.

                  I don't use it, due to everyone prefering to type. It isn't like this with games like TF2 and BF. :p

                    Pretty useful on Thai servers, they tend to chatter a lot (game doesn't support Thai text I presume).

                    But no, I can't be arsed to use it.

                        The Eavesdrop perk is pretty useless on PC, people rarely use VOIP in game, they either type or tak over TS, besides VOIP in-game is pretty quite which makes it all the more pointless.

                          No VOIP != no teamwork

                            other way around, pc user will use ts or vent, 360 will use there mic more often
