Mouse wheel to switch weapons

Does anybody else have a problem with this? When i try to do so it either half switches (does the movement but it doesnt change) or i throw a nade lol.

Im running vista64 and a logitech mx518 mouse, i have all the lastest ms updates and drivers for the mouse.

So far the only people i know with the problem are using the 64 version of vista! If anybody has any ideas/solutions i'd be most greatfull! I am considering changing my mouse as its annoying me so much

Running XP home and no problem using the mouse wheel to switch weapons.

I'm on XP Pro, MX510 mouse, and no issues. It may indeed be a Vista-64 problem.

Instead of scrapping the mouse, you can also try to uninstall the fancy logitech mouse software, if you have any running, and just go basic.

Yeah its worth a try i guess, gonna try and borrow a few mice off friends to see if they work any better too.

Not being able to switch properly has got me killed too many times now, and its a serious disadvantage in clan matches.

i just push the default 2 button

I run 32bit Vista with no problems so yes it maybe a 64 bit bug

same here... Though switching with 1 and 2 is the best! :)

Or go get G15 keyboard and setup the keys to switch - makes life a dam sight easier :yay:

I actually do have a G15, but 1 and 2 still is the best! I use G-buttons for joining servers or cheats on San Andreas! :) Great keyboard!
