Cod4 nuking your connection?

I've seen people discussing this for a while.... not a new problem. Thank IW. You guys are top notch.

But I've never had this issue, I've been hearing about it alot. The net coding sucks with this game... pings with Bf2 for example on my server are 20ms lower than this game on the same server same location. You can't ignore that proof that the netcode is horrible with this game.

have the same problem olways had to restart my comp to get back internet so from now on i only use ip connection.

I AM FED UP WITH THIS GAME!!!

I am still having the same problems. If I hurry and select a server within 5 or so seconds, I can connect. Otherwise, if I wait few more seconds, or I try to connect to a different server after playing, my internet connection drops for several minutes or until I reset my modem.

Why is there only a handful of us this is happening to?

Please help! I've tried everything I can think of and I'm tired of reseting my modem all the time.

Ive seen it happen, but Ive noticed it with games and IE 7.

I recently built a new system. XP with IE6 and everything worked fine. Went to IE7 and have this problem on occassion.

Maybe some of you use firefox or IE6, IDK, but that seems to be a link for me.

Not a big deal, clear to the tem directories and everything seems good again.

May be nothing though.
