u can use the command /record and /stoprecord to sapture video of gameplay but does anyone know where that saves to. i have looked everywhere for the video but it aint there. i need help

The default location is, C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\demos.
However if you have recorded a demo in a modded server the demos will be saved in a sub directory inside of the mods folder for example if you play in a match running a PAM4 mod and you record a demo your demo will be saved in C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\pam4\demos.

PS - You can name a demo when recoridng my typing /record demoname ('demoname' being your custom filename).

But to view them you have to copy them and paste them into....
