when ever i try only the official IW maps appear in the list, i would like to try out some of the maps i have downloaded because it appears no servers want to run them.
Go to Mods in your main menu and launch ModWarfare, once you're in ModWarfare's main menu, open the console and type, \map <map name>, example, \map mp_usermapname.
