what if i got intel core 2 duo e6850 @3.00GHz 4gb ram and a raden 3850 on the same connection for online multiplayer would the lag be better

also Alex6714 is your download speed 512kbit if so what is your upload speed and can you show me your stats

That is a test I just did. I play fine on european servers with 80-100 ping, 170-200 to US. I star to notice bad things up to around 190 ping really, so I just stick to european servers. I get no internet lag whatsoever unless someone else uses the internet at the same time. Lag can be because of internet or PC. I am also using wi-fi if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately I don´t really have any stats to show, beacause I have one account me and my friends used to play on ages ago, and 2 new ones. The problem being I almost never play BF2, only Project reality mod.

With that connection, I have no problem when my dad, brother, and I play in different BF2 servers and my sister playing WoW. It has to be something with your system specs.

yeah alex, mine kinda varies as well, ive seen it go as high as 60,000Kb/s d/l but it just really changes, i guess it depends on when and how many people are using at any one time.

i could try again for you if you want, but as i said its unreliable it really changes alot. but this is like an average i would say - def good to play on!! :P

^^ No I think I didn't.
These were my first days playing online games (BF2), but I don't remember having a laggy connection.
I can't recall the ping I got though.
These days I get a ping like 30-50 on most EU servers.
