Maybe better than an analog stick, but still much much much worse than a mouse and keyboard.

Sounds cool, but not cool enough to use.

Very cool idea and kudos for your work!

I agree that a mouse is the most accurate, especially newer laser mice, but this is still a cool idea. The wii can be fun to play on sometimes for something different, so why not bring the controls to something more fun like a pc.
