'Error During Initialization'

'Error during initialization: Couldn't load fileSysCheck.cfg. Make sure Call of Duty is run from the correct folder' - I get that error every time I try to start Single or Multiplayer... I got the patch and installed. I have restarted my computer several times and defragged it recently as well as check for errors. Any help???

(I searched for people who have posted this, but I couldn't find any)

Ok, well I ended up messing around and finally just reinstalled and it worked.

yeah, there was probably a file missing, and reinstalling would have made sure its there
