Sound Problem during play

Hey guys,

I have had this game for about a year now and had few minor problems with it.

But recently I have been experiencing a major problem in the game. When I actually get into the game, I can hear all the sound for the whole battle at once insted of just those in my immediate area. This makes the game run a lot slower and is really irritating.

HAs anyone else had this problem? And knows a way to fix it?

Any replys will be welcome.

dont use hardware sound i had it to selecting software or xfi fixed it.

My friend's got the same problem, but when he wants to access the audio options the game crashes.

Any way to prevent the game from crashing and/or to change the options manually, via the config files?
