    Need help~!

    HI total gaming network!!!

well, i upgraded my vga card (nvidia geforce 2 to ati radeon 9550) ( AGP )
so I just wanted to try bf2 if i could play online....

haha... well it looks like i can run it on singleplayer with everything off and low, but whenever i try to join a server, the game cTd...

I know that u require more spec than singleplayer, but is it just because
the spec aint good enough or something else???

P.S I don't play on servers with PB so no need to upgrade Pb..don't even have it...haha

    My spec.
somekind of cpu with 2.4 ghz single
    9550 radeon 256 mb
    512+256 mb=ram 768 mb...

    Thx

you have a weak graphics card and not enough memory. Reinstall anyway, with punkbuster and see what happens.

when going from the 2 different cards, did you uninstall the nvidia drivers before installing the ATI ones? If not, download driver cleaner pro (google it), run it in safe mode, and reinstall the ATI drivers.

Also try deleting your cache in My Documents>Battlefield 2>Mods>BF2>Cache.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's a PB issue or a driver issue. I had almost that exact same setup (9550 256MB, 2.2GHz AMD 3200+XP proc, 768MB RAM) a while back. It was playable, I guess:shakehead, at all the lowest settings until explosions happened in the area. Then it was a slide show.
