The problem was always that bots were inconsistent: one second, they were completely inept and suddenly would turn into pros. I've also noticed their remarkable ability to pull off headshots on a near consistent basis. That turned me off so much that I stopped playing with bots when I was in Iqaluit. Internet there was too slow for online play...
