Any performances tweaks for Bf2? How do i disable the video?

Are there any tweaks for Bf2 to make the game run better? I remember there was a way to disable to backround video of the game, the one that plays in the menu. I remembered i had to disabled, and the game ran a bit better, but i re-install and forgot how to do that.

Add +restart 1 to your startup line (rightclick on the shortcut, properties, target).

        BF2\Mods\bf2\Movies

Rename the file extensions to something like .backup instead of .bik

I think the videos have to be loaded onto the RAM when the game starts, so if you have <2GB then it may help.
