connecting to specific IP:PORT servers

im trying to connect to a server that my buddy gave me the ip:port for, but how do i get into this game ? is there somewhere on the server browser where i can insert the ip;port to join that game?

open console (with ~ key)

type:
/connect ip: port (no space between the : and the port, I just did it to remove the smiley)

so, for example:
/connect 1.23.456.7:28960

*if you're ingame, you need the "/", if you're just in the main menu, you can just type connect without the "/"

*No, you can't enter it in the server browser, but you can enter it in when you add a favorite server.
