Extreme Hardcore - you up for it?

Hi all

|TAG| now has an Extreme Hardcore server, Bassically i modded it so its as real as poss.

What i wanted to achive was a server that was man against man, gun against gun. none of these lame kills u get with noob tubes, nade spamming ant that annoying death nade perk etc etc. To get you kills you will have to actually shoot the person, sounds funny don't it, but ur be surprised how many kills ppl get which is not from thier gun. So now if you use your brains and find good cover, you have just that, good cover cos the other guy cant just noob tube u out and if you run into a room a clear it out of 3 - 4 opfor's you wont get blown up by someone using the death nade.

Well if you fancy playing on a real gamers server, fancy actually playing man against man, gun against gun......if you can manage it like our Extreme Hardcore server ip is

Limited kits would be nice. Although the kits are going to get hogged...
For 20 players:
1 Spec Ops (smg)
1 Sniper
2 Grenadiers
2 Automatic Riflemen (lmg)
The rest are riflemen

Perhaps he was talking about America's Army? IT has limited kits, you have to "sign up" for them at a beginning of a round.

Soldiers use M203's all the time, and, well, any weapon they can get which suits the situation. If you don't like it nerf it, but it's still a tactical feature.

kits will not be limited and there are no snipers, it brings in campers, i know that what sniper r ment to do, but i dont want ppl sitting around, i want'em out and moving.

Easy now. Not everyone enjoys the "default" game-style. The Dev Team recognized this, which is why they allowed such a good level of customization.

Some people come from other games, and would like to have a similar experience, but in the COD4 "world". It doesn't have to be all or nothing. If people don't like the server, no one will play on it. To each their own. COD4 is a fantastic game, and customization allows an even wider audience.
