Battlefield 2 Wont install right? Tried everything!

Battlfield 2 wont install. I had to un-install it because it said i had to wrong version or whatever, it was playing perfectly fine yesterday. I un-installed it perfectly fine, ran rigestrey cleaners and everything, the things completely off my computer, but when i try to isntall, it says it cant continue the installation and i have to start from the beginning.

I tried to manually install it, and when i try to copy cd1 it says it cant copy some file.

What should i do?

Clean the disk, try another drive.

how do i clean the disk? I'm sure i cant just use soap and water...

And ill try to run it in my DVD rom, hopefully itll work. Last time it did this i had to download the game illigally, install it, using my CD key, and it worked. But i dont wanna download it illigally again...
