Mic check...help

I have a headset that I want to use with BF2 on VoIP. I had it set up befiore, but it was on my camera mic(Loud and people can hear EVERYTHING). I try to set my audio device to "Creative" my sound card and it says something like "can not set up blah blah blah"

I restored to defaults and it still didn't work.
