No, the game needs to be able handle the input and shift the pictures accordingly to your head position.

We discussed it before, but I still don't understand how the images becomes 3D?

Btw my webcam can also do face tracking, so it should be possible to do the same using just that.

It is very interesting, but I am wondering why it hasn't been done years ago if it is that simple.

It wouldn't look 3D at all, if you kept your head perfectly still. However, when you move your head, the computer reads its position and adjusts the image accordingly to give a fantastic illusion that the image is 3D.

It has - the hardware has existed, Johnny just figured out how to do it with a Wiimote.

Re: 3-D FPS Shooting on Wii

Ha, it's been almost a year since I wrote this and I'm finally getting a Wii for my family for Christmas. It's been sitting in my room next to my bed for weeks now...

I can't wait for the kids to go to bed because I'm going to HAVE to set it up for them during the night. Christmas Eve is going to be really long because it's probably the only time I'll ever get the Wii to myself!

your going to have to turn the sound off to not wake them. If they do you can say you was playing (enter wii game name here) with Santa.
