• the part where the "cobra" goes down...in the film, I'm 99.9% sure the pilot dies, like the one in this game, and maybe all the main char.'s do except a few/1
• the part where they popped green smoke...from movie

Black Hawk down (the book the movie is based on) was written in 1999, based on an event that occurred in 1993.

I doubt the two are related in any way.
