WTH is this? Someone PLEASE explain!!!!

OK so there I am playing on my clan server as normal. I get in the SU39 with my clan mate and he says over VOIP "omg the Bloodsport on the other team must be hacking". I'm like WTF then I checked the player list, and there is someone on the other team with my exact name including clan tags. Only small diff is that he's a two star and I got three.

Now I know that a lot of high ranking players have been reset because of this, have I got something to worry about?

Here's a quick screen when loads of vehicles started dropping, and shortly after the server crashed. We couldn't kick or ban him via BF2CC either, kept getting errors.



His BF2CC ID is 621f94898040e4c046fdf74fdbd7d099 and I urge all server owners to add this manually on to their ban list ASAP.

I'm waiting on my clan mate to send me a screen to show both me and him on the server, will edit this thread when I get it.

That's the GUID of the player. I can PM mine to server owners and EA/DICE representatives on request.

Sorry mate, duly edited. Also added the one with both of us showing in the players list. After checking on BF2CC his name has a space after the 1982 whereas mine doesn't

Well its a NameHack, he can spoof any name he wants and also spoof the rank of other/same person.

I think EA would've learned about this and not reset high ranked people's stats, but who knows.

It's so weird that anyone would take the time to do some **** like this. Perhaps that guy at some point was kicked from your server, and now he wants revenge, it's the only logical explanation I can think of for somebody to do this.
