How does double tap affect a sniper rifle?Originally posted by pwnageisntgoodjust got that bout half an hour ago :salute:
any one hear tryed m40 with double tap
my clan member uses it and hes good , i tryed it and its madness shooting so fast with a sniper argh..
And why would you need it even if it did affect it, you're supposed to be precise, not a spammer.Comment

I don't use sniper rifles, so this is just an educated guess...but if some rifles have a longer delay between shots (bolt-actions, perhaps?), then Double Tap may reduce the time needed to pull the trigger for each shot.
Maybe someone can try it out for sure.Comment

^^ Yeah but if you hold your breath (like any sane person would do) you must wait at least two seconds before you can get another accurate shot, so I don't see how double tap would do any good there. On the semi-auto ones, well... could be good for spamming shots close up.
But I could be wrong. Someone may correct me if that is the case.Comment

Who the heck needs stopping power?!?! I always go for that head. And if you fight like a 'real' sniper you don't worry about jugernoughts because they far away and you're hidden. But then there's those days when you take M21 with stopping power and waste the enemy team on Bog...hehe good times, good times.Comment

I'm about to test it, but I figure sleight of hand would have more of an effect (like the shotgun) than double tap.Comment
