Agreed. It just seems to be spinning off in a completely different direction than where the flagship products are going, and I think that'll turn a few people off.

But, that doesn't mean I won't play it, especially if it is a free-to-play game. But, I'm getting this whole feeling of, "Wait 10 seconds on this ad, or pay $10 to get them removed."

Well lets think about it, they have done ww1 vietnam, present day wars, future wars. What else do they have to go off? I am all up for new games and different types of games, I am hopping it will be a hit, but it could easily.

From the stuff I heard it looks awesome. As far as I understand it you wont get any advantage over other players when paying, just being able to customize your appearance a little more. And if the only ads are gonna be in the menus as said, then who cares?

But I'd still like more info. Too early to say anything now really.
